Although "The Real Housewives of New York City" star had hoped to wait until she was further along to break the news, online buzz on PerezHilton.com caused her to reveal that she's roughly two months pregnant. "It's premature to be telling people this," she told PEOPLE while fighting back tears. Though she knows she can hardly keep secrets now that she's a reality star, Frankel, 38, said she'd hoped to keep the news private a bit longer. "It's not like, 'Did I get Botox?' It's not the way I wanted it to get out," she said. "I haven't even gone through my first trimester. We haven't even heard the heartbeat. My [fiance's] parents didn't even know." She and Hoppy are "both so excited," said Frankel. Still, she added that because the pregnancy is early, "I am praying everything is OK but I don't know that yet." Surprise baby news Frankel, who met Hoppy at the nightclub Tenjune 11 months ago, said she's thrilled to have found The One . "We were both complete players. We never thought we would find the right person." As for getting pregnant before tying the knot , she said, "I'm no spring chicken. I didn't think it was going to happen right away. Because of my age, sometimes we weren't totally careful." But she admits, "I got to be honest, we are both feeling kind of proud of ourselves. We are both 38 and we were like, 'Listen, your fish can swim and I am fertile.' So that's exciting." The couple plans to wed before she has the baby. Explained Frankel , "Because of my age, it's not like I was going to meet a boy, and then be engaged for a year and then be married for a year before we started trying [to have kids] ... I'd be 45." She describes the way things have unfolded as "like the Triple Crown. I got engaged, we got pregnant and we're gonna get married. It's a miracle." Cravings And while she's less than two months into the pregnancy, Frankel said she's already experiencing a change in her appetite. "I'm hungry in a way that is not negotiable," she said. "I'm not eating tremendous amount but if I am hungry, I will stab someone for food." She even ate a jar of pickles before she'd taken her pregnancy test. "That's so cliche," she said. "I just want salt. Salt on everything."

RubyDreams Report: Atlanta Housewife Kandi Burruss's Fiancé Killed in Fight Oct 3, 2009 6:26 AM Ashley Jewell, the fiancé of Kandi Burruss, a castmember of Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta , has died from an injury sustained during a brawl outside an Atlanta strip club, TV station WBSTV reports. "It appears he was involved in an altercation in the parking lot and he received a severe blow to the head," Atlanta Police Lt. Keith Meadows told the TV station . Jewell was taken to a hospital where he later died. Jewell, known as A.J., appeared regularly on the hit reality show, often clashing with Burruss's mother, who disapproved of her daughter's relationship. Burruss's publicist Lisa Nelson confirmed to the Atlanta station that Burruss, a singer-songwriter who recorded with the band Xscape and worked with TLC and Mariah Carey, has been informed of the incident and was "stunned and speechless." Police said they have not determined a motive for the brawl, but the investigation is still under way. "We have developed a person of interest and we've made contact with him to question him about the incident," said Lt. Meadows Kandi is such a sweetheart. She is my favorite housewife on the show!! I feel so bad for her.

kty It's a Girl for New Jersey Housewife Teresa Giudice Sep 15, 2009 4:50 PM There's a new Jersey girl in town! The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe welcomed daughter Audriana on Monday evening in (where else?) New Jersey, a Bravo rep confirms to PEOPLE. The baby weighed in at 7 lbs., 14 oz., and was 20 ½ inches long. "Teresa and her husband Joe are doing great," the rep says Audriana is the fourth child for the couple, who are also parents to daughters Gia, 8, Gabriella, 4, and Milania, 3. Giudice announced the pregnancy in May, shortly before the show's inaugural season ended. She caused some controversy during her time on Housewives , flipping a full dinner table during a fight with castmate Danielle Staub and lashing out at a makeup artist on a reunion show. But regardless of Giudice's relationships with the other housewives, Audriana will definitely have a playmate in town: Castmate Jacqueline Laurita welcomed a son Nicholas, in June.
