Housewife Deshawn Hits a Sour Note, Big Papa Makes a BIG Purchase

I thought DeShawn was one of the more sensible ones. But my mind changed after she botched a fundraiser she organized for her foundation.

DeShawn has absolutely no business sense whatsoever. To her credit she runs a foundation with a very admirable cause. However, a non-profit is a business and she failed to generate any cash during an event she organized on behalf of her organization. Her goal was to raise $1 million dollars in one night through auctioning high-priced items like the $14,000 bracelet that Big Papa bought Kim, Jimmy Choo accessories, etc.(a portion of the proceeds would go her organization). She has a lot of connections being an NBA wife and as an Atlanta socialite. So what went wrong? Instead of using her connections to make sure high rollers were in the audience who could actually afford $14,000 jewelry, she hands out fliers/invitations in the local stores where she was sure to attract the wrong people nor did she charge attendees to come to the event. So NOBODY bid in the auction. Complete failure. The most irritating moment was when she said to her husband that she couldn’t figure out what went wrong. Seemed pretty simple to me. But whatever.

Of course the other “housewives” were b*tching about the event behind her back.

One other thing that came to light this evening: Kim, the wanna be country singer said she has a nursing degree. So she does have a brain under that wig.

It looks like the claws are really going to come out next week when Kim and NeNe have a b*tchfight.
