My guess is that new housewife Gretchen is going to stir a lot of ire and jealousy amongst some of the older OC women. If you have followed the OC women since the first season, you know that these women are a very tight group of women unlike the Atlanta group. Not only do the new housewives have to be accepted into this exclusive club, but it seems based on Vicki's comment at Jeana's trunk show that new housewives have to look, dress and act similar in order to be a part of the group. I get the feeling that Gretchen is a bit of a rebel and will have a difficult time meshing within the group. Sure she and her finance who is 23 years her senior have lots of money to burn and she definitely has plenty of bleached hair to share among all five of the housewives. But Gretchen is already experiencing boob envy; according to the show, most of the women in Orange County have augmented breasts and Gretchen doesn't seem to want to be left out. By the end of the season, do you think Gretchen will drop $8,000 or so to fulfill her desire for more breasts?
Let's not forget that she's also 10 years younger than many if not all of the housewives (seems like Vicki might want to claw her eyes out over that one) and Lauri has already crowned her the "hottest" housewife, a title that 40 year old Tamra has already claimed. We'll just have to see if Tamra will continue to hold her title or if the new girl in town has snatched the crown right from her pretty little blonde head.

8I can't believe how many times Tamyra's husband scratched up things in the house with the exercise equipment. I would have been freakin out.
I can't believe that the housewives were making fun of Gretchen. They could have been more sensitve to the fact that her husband was really sick. You can really tell that Gretchen's husband was really really sick on the episode.
It's good that Jeana is still able to make money in the real estate market in Orange County. It looks like she is trying to sell foreclosures.
I don't know about Ashley's skin care line. She doesn't seem to know very much about her business.
I'm questioning Ashley's skin care line myself. BTW, I'm not a fan of Lauri's daughter Ashley. She's a spoiled brat and very jealous of her mother. I wonder how she felt when her mom left the show. Anyone else irritated by Ashley?
9Yeah, I think she is spoiled. Remember, how Lauri let her stay at her old house and Ashley didn't even clean it up. I am not saying the apartment should have been spotless, but it was really messy. She didn't do the dishes, old food was around, she didn't clean up after the cat. How can you let your apartment look that messy on TV and with camera men walking through your house? She had to have been embarrassed. Ashley just seems really lazy.
10i am not a fan of ashley but those girls from last season. their mom was only on one season and their dad died...
they were SO obnoxious -- "omg i won't even have a lot money to spend on vacation" while lots of people have ZERO dollars to spend on a vacay!
they made a huge deal out of nothing. although i did feel bad for them, getting left out of their
dads will and that woman getting it all.

12yeah and from the sounds of it he barely even knew the wife. they were typical gold diggers. found some rich old white men and latched on.
